He urged people to continue to live in peace with each other and strive towards healthy and legal means of livelihood. He commended the Ulamas and particularly Chief Imams and scholars for the energy they deployed in Ramadan Tafsir across the state.Bashar also enjoined the Ulamas and parents in particular to ensure their wards do not indulge in acts that are dangerous to their health and community.
In another development, the Chief Imam of Gesse Phase 2, Dr. Usman Damana, has appealed to Muslim Ummah to show kindness, love and care to one another in the spirit of brotherhood.
In his Friday’s sermon, Damana urged Muslims to consider alms-giving as an avenue of maximising the abundant rewards of the holy month of Ramadan, saying the Muslims should see themselves as members of the same family.
